Eleni Vitali, was born on September 19, 1954 in Athens, Greece as Eleni Lavida to a musical family. Her father, Takis Lavidas was a musician and known senator player and her mother Lucy was a singer. She began her music career at an early age as she travels with her parents at concerts throughout Greece. Her first recording was in 1973 alongside the singer Sotiria Blue. In 1975, she married to the musician Vangelis Vahidi.
